Introduction
Welcome to the 4th Annual Sickle Cell Awareness Group of Ontario (SCAGO) Sickle Cell Summit. This year's event will be held in-person on August 23rd and 24th, 2024 at DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Toronto Airport West (5444 Dixie Rd. Mississauga ON, L4W 2L2), and will focus on the theme of Innovative Cures for Sickle Cell Disease (SCD). This summit aims to bring together the diverse members of the Sickle Cell Disease community to unite in our efforts to enhance awareness, promote equitable care, and foster innovation in SCD care.

This year's summit will include a dedicated learning track for healthcare providers, focusing on "Quality Standards for Sickle Cell Disease". Healthcare providers are encouraged to register to attend this informative and essential series of sessions.
