Karine Baser currently works in the Quality Division at Ontario Health, leading the development and execution of strategies to support implementation of clinical and quality standards across the province. Karine holds a Bachelors of Nutritional Sciences from the University of Guelph, and a Masters of Health Administration from the University of Ottawa. She has worked in the Ontario health system for over 15 years, and brings experience from her work in change management and quality improvement in hospitals, primary care and the home and community sector.
Karine is committed to volunteerism and has contributed her time to several Community Health Centre boards, the Centre for Addictions and Mental Health, the Heart and Stroke Foundation, and as an executive member of the Canadian College of Health Leaders GTA Chapter. She lives in Toronto and is an active parent to two young boys and a caregiver for her aging father.
