Dr. Kevin Kuo is an adult hematologist and clinician-investigator in the Red Blood Cell Program at Toronto General Hospital, University Health Network, an associate professor at the Division of Hematology, and an assistant professor (status) at the Institute of Health Policy, Management, and Evaluation, University of Toronto.
His clinical focus is on rare congenital hemolytic anemias and his research focuses on genetic modifiers and novel therapies in rare congenital hemolytic anemias, the impact of white matter changes on neurocognitive outcomes in sickle cell disease, and non-chelating strategies in the treatment of iron overload.
