Clinic Nurse
Erin completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at the University of Ottawa in 2012 and started her career as a pediatric nurse in Toronto. Her background in strengths-based care and leadership with the Registered Nurses Association of Ontario led her to the opportunity to join the world of hemoglobinopathy in 2020. As she began working with the McMaster lifespan clinic, she was quickly inspired by her colleagues and patients to contribute to the advocacy being led by SCAGO and profession organizations to improve equity in health care. Erin endeavors to use the role of nursing to compassionately and skillfully address healthcare needs of children, adults and families through local and global efforts.
