Zoraïda Saoudi is a Clinical Development Manager and Field Medical Advisor at the Rare Disease division of Novo Nordisk Canada Inc.Zoraïda holds 2MSc Degrees from France in Genomics and Cell Development and has over 10 years of experience in Clinical Research and Medical Affairs in Rare Bleeding and Rare Endocrine Disorders. She worked in the pharmaceutical industry in France, Algeria, and Canada and has North African experience as she was leading the Medical Affairs activities in Haemophilia and Growth Disorders in Maghreb.
In her different roles, Zoraïda implemented several initiatives and helped bridging between the industry, the healthcare professionals, and the patients’ organizations to bring equal chances in terms of clinical research, access to care, and training to North Africa. She also worked with the affiliates in the Maghreb and Central Africa to increase awareness of Rare Diseases and implement training programs for new doctors and nurses ultimately to better serve the patients.
Zoraïda joined the Canadian affiliate in 2020 where she led/co-led several initiatives among them the early referral project for Kids with Growth Disorders and the Women with Bleeding Disorders campaign that aims to eliminate gender barriers in Rare Bleeding Disorders. She is presently leading the SCD Medical activities.
