Compensation: $30/hour x 30 hours/week
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate the execution of program activities across Ontario regions, including London, Ottawa, Toronto, and Hamilton.
Lead recruitment efforts for youth participants and mentors in designated regions.
Design week-by -week program. Manage schedules, logistics, and communication for multi-regional programming.
Collaborate with the Project Leads to ensure consistency in program delivery and material use across locations.
In years 2–3, spearheaded the expansion of programming into Saskatchewan and Halifax. This includes:
Building local networks of mentors and participants.
Customizing program activities to meet regional needs.
Overseeing logistics, recruitment, and programming in new provinces.
Act as the primary liaison for regional stakeholders, including community organizations, families, and mentors.
Maintain detailed records of program activities, participant progress, and recruitment metrics.
Prepare periodic reports and updates for internal and external stakeholders.
Manage volunteers/program mentors during the sessions.
Communicate weekly with youth about upcoming deadlines and expected results via virtual classroom (ie. Google Classroom)
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in program management, administration, or related field (or equivalent experience).
Strong experience in coordinating multi-location projects or programs.
Proven ability to recruit and engage diverse populations, especially youth and volunteers.
Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in project management tools and software.
Willingness to travel for program coordination and regional expansion.
Proficiency at organizing virtual classroom, using Zoom, Slack, and other communication tools.
Requirements:
The role requires flexibility with working times during the day, including availability on specific evenings or weekends for programming. Needs to be available in the evenings or weekends on specific dates for programming.
Should have a car or means of accommodation to travel across Ontario for in-person meetings.
Should be able to start immediately (January 2025)
