As part of our two-week event spotlight in honour of World Sickle Cell Day, the Sickle Cell Awareness Group of Ontario (SCAGO) will highlight the important work and advocacy of our clinical social workers! Join us on June 18th at 1 p.m., where Sinthu Srikanthan (Blood Disorders Program, Toronto General Hospital, University Health Network) and Sarah Rashid (Adult and Pediatric Hemoglobinopathy Program McMaster Children’s Hospital) will share more about the role of social work support in sickle cell disease care, along with resources and support for children, youth, and adults and their families.
