Adlette Inati is Professor of Clinical Medicine at the Lebanese American University, Byblos, Head of Pediatric Hematology Oncology Division and Director of Comprehensive SCD Program at Nini hospital, Tripoli, Lebanon. She heads a team providing comprehensive care to 1000 people with
catastrophic blood diseases and childhood cancer.
Prof. Inati received her medical degree from the American University of Beirut and had her Pediatric Residency and Hematology Fellowship at Johns Hopkins Hospital and Boston Children’s Hospital, Harvard Medical School. She is American board-certified and Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical
Society member. She has 85 publications in peer review journals and hundreds of abstracts in key hematology meetings and is a reviewer for leading international journals. She is principal investigator, advisory board and steering committee member in multiple global trials evaluating novel agents in SCD.
Prof. Inati is Founder and President of GNK Foundation, a Lebanese NGO that she established after the loss of her 16 years old son in a car accident and that promotes free health care delivery and awareness as well as ethics and rules of safe driving. Her ultimate passion though remains mentoring young physicians to become expert scientists and compassionate healers.
