NOTE: Only members in good standing on October 21st 2017 will be able to vote. If you interested in having a say in the election process and are not currently in good standing, we ask that you please pay your membership dues on/before October 13th 2017.

Membership fees are usually paid at the beginning of each calendar year and are valid for that calendar year.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT:

1. A warm, accepting, non-judgemental and informal atmosphere
2. Openly discuss, in confidence, your personal experiences living with Sickle Cell Disease
3. Give and receive support to one another every meeting
4. Increase your knowledge and learn new ways to cope with Sickle Cell Disease

Date: Every 2nd Saturday of every other Month

B. Patients and Parents Support Meeting (Hamilton-Wentworth Region)

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT:

1. A unique opportunity for individuals with SCD and parents to meet for support and discussions in a non-judgemental atmosphere

2. Openly discuss, in confidence, your personal experiences living with Sickle Cell Disease

3. Give and receive support to one another every meeting
4. Increase your knowledge and learn new ways to cope with Sickle Cell Disease

Format: Parents and patients hold meetings in separate rooms. 

Location: Room 4E18. McMaster Children's Hospital.  1200 Main St W. Hamilton
